Kiawah river tour, “welcome to your charleston garden” Workshop & Lunch

Join Jeff Snyder, Kiawah River’s Chief Environmental Officer as he takes us on a tour of the pocket gardens and managed natural spaces of Kiawah River, a new 2,000 acre residential development with strong emphasis on preserving the area’s natural resources.

After our tour, we will have lunch at the new Spring House Restaurant at Kiawah River while local expert Nancy Hart leads an informative workshop designed for gardeners who are new to the Lowcountry or new to gardening. “Welcome to your Charleston Garden” will teach some basic gardening tips to help you be more successful! Learn about Zone 8B, how to take a soil sample and different annuals, perennials, vines, shrubs and trees that grow well in the Lowcountry.

This event is limited to 20 people. Full details & tickets HERE.
