Originally established in 1925 as a private retreat, Yeamans Hall was built on the historic site of Yeamans Plantation, named after Sir John Yeamans, one of South Carolina’s earliest colonial Governors. The property reflects the timeless appeal of the Lowcountry, blending natural beauty with thoughtful design.

At its heart is the stately clubhouse, a masterpiece of Colonial Revival architecture designed by the renowned firm James Gamble Rogers. The surrounding grounds were envisioned by acclaimed landscape architect Frederic Law Olmsted Jr., whose work harmonized the native flora with carefully curated gardens, creating an environment of understated sophistication.

One of Yeamans Hall’s crowning jewels is the Borom Garden, a testament to decades of horticultural dedication. With its majestic live oaks, historic camellias, and curated plantings, this iconic space celebrates the natural beauty and legacy of Lowcountry gardening. The Yeamans Hall horticultural staff continues to preserve and enhance these historic landscapes, maintaining their legacy for future generations.

Today, Yeamans Hall remains a private sanctuary, rarely open to the public, making this event a truly unique opportunity. Explore its rich history, breathtaking gardens, and unparalleled charm while celebrating our 25th Anniversary.
