Insects: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly with Tony Bertauski 08/13/2020; 10am-11:30am

In this workshop, Tony introduces us to the creepy, the crawly and the flying insects in our gardens. Which insects are harming our plants and how do we control them? Which bugs do we actually want around and how do we encourage them?   And finally, which bugs are just hanging out?   You will leave this class armed with the knowledge you need to create the perfect insect biome for your plants!

Tony Bertauski is the Director of Horticulture Program at Trident Technical College and has been teaching horticulture for 22 years. He also writes the gardening column for the Post and Courier

Class will be held via Zoom on Thursday, August 13th, 10am-11:30am.   Cost is $15 for CHS Hort members and $20 for non-members. (Not a member?  Click HERE to join and receive your class discount!)

Class includes an hour of instruction time with 30 minutes for Q & A.   Participants will receive a full recording of the class via email for future reference.
