Having trouble growing roses in the hot, humid Charleston area?

Noisette roses are one of the easiest roses to grow here. They flower prodigiously from spring through fall, have a lovely fragrance, and resist diseases.  this workshop will teach you the history of Noisette Roses and how to care for and propagate them.

A selection of Noisette Blush and Lamarque roses propagated by Beth will be available for purchase after the lecture.   Each participant will receive a copy of Noisette Roses: 19th Century Charleston’s Gift to the World edited by Virginia Kean for the Charleston Horticultural Society.
Elizabeth Ilderton, a NC Master Gardener, has studied and propagated Noisettes Roses for the last 12 years.
