This fall, join us for an outdoor adventure through twelve inspiring private gardens as CHS Hort presents our 20th Annual Fall Garden Tour. Each year our tour features a carefully curated selection of private home gardens located in a different area of the Charleston region. This year’s tour takes us to the beautifully planned stand-alone community of Daniel Island.

Garden highlights
This year our 12 private gardens offer a variety of unique highlights and features for our attendees to observe and enjoy.
Attendees will be treated to a variety of garden styles including an English style backyard garden, a front garden featuring native plants and succulents as well as bedding gardens featuring Japanese Maples, Camellias, Live Oaks and Magnolias. Other highlights include a stunning poolside garden with a Canary Island Date Palm with an intimate Asian-inspired garden in the back.

Public garden offerings
Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the 2-acre garden oasis of Osprey Trail located in front of Daniel Island School on Daniel Island Drive. Developed in 2008 and maintained by the Daniel Island Garden Club, the site features a series of beautiful gardens including a Bird and Butterfly Garden, Children’s Garden, Japanese Garden and several others along the path centralized by a cooper and stainless steel 11 ft. tall sculpture known as Island Sonata.
