Our coHORT gardening group is designed to educate and inspire future generations of gardeners by engaging young professionals (ages 20 – 40) of similar residential, vocational and environmental interests through a variety of social and educational programs geared specifically toward horticulture and gardening.
Members of coHORT will be welcomed into a community of aspiring and novice gardeners through a variety of opportunities to participate in programs, study groups, community outreach and social events targeted to a variety of special program interests. Events will be announced throughout the year as we adapt to the challenges of the COVID pandemic.
Past events have included programs on propagation and container gardening, led by local young professionals in Lowcountry horticulture and garden design, along recent with opportunities for on-site, hands-on volunteering with our partners at the Green Heart Project.
